Why do I like astronomy, is not hard to tell. I am not a nerd, but everything comes together, Science, Engineering, Nature, Philosophy and even Religion. When I see the Planets of  Saturn I imagine how Galileo felt. I love the quiet starry nights, lazy star hopping,  a laptop to assist me, digital cameras and very basic optical laws to fight with. I love to read in Burnham's Celestial Handbook, to read the background about the constellation, the Greek, the modern times and about the Hobbits. I love the challenge to find my way on the sky by following guides.
